Liberty Link Group (“Liberty Link Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent insurance brokerage serving Oklahoma and Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through libertylinkgroup.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting a quote request, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the type of insurance you’re interested in, and anything else you choose to share. To prepare quotes, we and the carriers we work with may later collect additional information needed for underwriting (for example, property, vehicle, or driver details).
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our hosting and security provider automatically receive certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We use a small number of essential cookies to operate the Site (for example, to maintain a secure session). We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver insurance quotes and respond to your requests.
- To contact you about quotes, coverage, renewals, and our services — by phone and email, and by text message only if you have opted in to SMS, consistent with the consent you provide.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
- To keep records and comply with applicable insurance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you and run our business:
- Insurance carriers and wholesalers. To shop the market on your behalf and obtain quotes, we share relevant information with the insurance companies and wholesale markets we work with.
- Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate the Site and our communications — including our website hosting/security provider (Cloudflare) and our email delivery provider (SendGrid/Twilio). They may process your information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our clients, our business, or others.
- Business transfers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Communications & your consent
When you submit a quote request and check the required contact-consent box, you authorize us to contact you at the phone number and email you provided — including by phone call and email, and by automated or prerecorded means — regarding insurance quotes and services. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Text messages (SMS) are handled separately. Our quote and contact forms include a distinct, optional SMS-consent checkbox that is unchecked by default; you can submit the form without it. We only send text messages to numbers that have affirmatively opted in through that box. See the SMS / text message communications section below and our Terms of Service for the full SMS program terms.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time: reply STOP to a text message, ask to be removed during any call, or email rachel@libertylinkgroup.com. We may still send you non-marketing messages related to a quote or policy you’ve requested.
SMS / text message communications
Liberty Link Group may send text messages to phone numbers that have explicitly opted in to receive them by checking the separate, optional SMS consent box on one of our quote or contact forms. Our SMS program is described in our Terms of Service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories listed exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Information we collect when you opt in to SMS
When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to our SMS program, we collect: your phone number, the date and time of opt-in, the source of opt-in (for example, which quote or contact form), your IP address and browser/device (user agent) at the time of opt-in, and a record of the exact consent language you agreed to. We retain this information for the duration of your participation in the program plus the period required by federal and state recordkeeping rules.
How we use the information
We use your mobile number solely to deliver the SMS messages you opted in to receive — for example, follow-ups on a quote you requested, requests for documents needed to finalize a quote or policy, and notifications about renewals, endorsements, or other policy activity. We do not use your mobile number for unrelated marketing.
Sharing
We use Twilio, Inc. as our SMS service provider. Your phone number is shared with Twilio strictly for the purpose of delivering the messages you’ve opted in to receive. Twilio is contractually required to handle this data in accordance with applicable telecom and privacy laws. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with any other third party for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only when your quote or policy activity triggers them (for example, a quote is ready to review, a document is needed, or a renewal is approaching).
Opt-out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages. To rejoin, reply START. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the phone number or email below. Message and data rates may apply.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide quotes and services, maintain our business and insurance records, and meet legal and regulatory obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to carrier websites or other third-party pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be posted on this page.
